French Star Close To Sign QPR  Deal After Passing Medical

French goalkeeper Paul Nardi has successfully passed a medical with QPR, as the Championship side moves forward with plans to sign him.

Paul Nardi, 30, is out of contract with Belgian club Gent this summer and appears set for a new chapter in English football.

QPR have been eager to secure his signature, and the process has advanced swiftly with Nardi now in London.

According to French daily Le Parisien, Paul Nardi has passed a medical with QPR.

He is now set to sign a two-year contract with the club at Loftus Road.

Paul Nardi was previously linked with a potential return to his former club Lorient, who were relegated from Ligue 1 this season. However, no offer was made to him.

The goalkeeper missed a significant portion of last season due to an ankle fracture, which required surgery.

As a result, Nardi made only eleven appearances in the Belgian top flight for Gent last season, managing to keep one clean sheet.
