Class of 2025 high-rising prospect schedules official visit to UNC basketball program

The recruitment of this four-star talent is intensifying, with the UNC basketball program firmly in the mix.

Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program are ramping up their efforts to attract top Class of 2025 talent.

On Tuesday, it was revealed that four-star combo guard Derek Dixon has officially scheduled a visit to Chapel Hill, as has fellow four-star talent Braylon Mullins.

Mullins has scheduled two future visits, first to UConn at the beginning of August and then to Chapel Hill on September 14-15.

The Greenfield, Indiana native has continued to rise as a prospect in the Class of 2025. Currently viewed as a four-star talent, Mullins has seen his ranking improve since the UNC basketball program extended an offer on May 21. 247Sports now ranks him as the No. 24 overall player in the class and the No. 3 player from the state of Indiana.

Mullins has excelled on the AAU circuit, averaging 19.4 points per game while shooting an impressive 56.4% from the floor, including 48.4% from three-point range over thirteen games in Adidas 3SSB.

There is plenty to admire about Mullins’ overall game, so it’s no surprise that many top-tier programs are actively recruiting him. It’s encouraging that Hubert Davis and his staff have reached the point where Mullins wants to make an official visit to campus, as a stop in Chapel Hill could be a pivotal moment in this recruitment.

The Class of 2025 hasn’t yet yielded any commitments for the UNC basketball program, but don’t worry—Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels are working hard to change that in the near future.
